A Semester of Growth: Reflecting on Our Semester-Based Therapy Model at Integrity Learning Center

Dec 24, 2025 | ABA Therapy

At Integrity Learning Center, we believe children and staff make their greatest progress when they experience consistency, momentum, and a clear path forward. That’s why, beginning in the fall of 2025, we launched our new semester-based ABA therapy model—a structured annual rhythm designed to support learning, family planning, and meaningful growth.

Now that we are wrapping up the Fall 2025 semester, we’re excited to share both why we’ve made this shift and to highlight some special moments from the past few months!

A Look Inside Our First Fall Semester

When we introduced our semester-based therapy model in 2025, our goal was to create a rhythm that mirrors the consistency and momentum children experience in a school year. By structuring the year into three focused therapy semesters—Fall (August–December), Spring (January–May), and a fun Summer session (June–July)—we’re able to provide predictable transitions, clearer progress checkpoints, smoother parent involvement, and planned breaks that support both children and staff.

This Fall 2025 semester was our very first test of the model, and it showed us just how valuable this structure can be.  The following is a recap of intentional milestones that guided the flow of learning and collaboration and will be repeated in the upcoming spring semester!

Spirit Week — A Warm, Joyful Start

The semester opened with Spirit Week from August 4–8, creating an inviting, playful atmosphere for children to transition into new routines. RBTs began their new schedules with clients, and the week was spent getting to know each other to build a therapeutic relationship.  This set a positive tone for the months ahead.

Grow Week — Mid-Semester Reflection & Staffing Check-Ins

From September 29–October 3, Grow Week gave our leadership team time to meet individually with each RBT to discuss caseload needs, identify staffing or training gaps, and set goals for the remainder of the semester.  This internal reset helped strengthen team alignment and ensure that every child’s program was appropriately supported.  Grow Week ended with a staff professional development morning!

Momentum Week — Ending Strong and Celebrating Growth

The Fall semester closed with Momentum Week from December 15–19, a vibrant and purposeful celebration of progress. The leadership team met with all RBTs to review performance and discuss promotions, while families received meaningful updates to set the stage for Spring 2026.
The semester officially ends December 23, followed by our winter break until the New Year.  Our next staff professional development day is scheduled the afternoon of January 2, 2026!

By weaving these milestone weeks into each semester, we ensure that assessment, planning, parent communication, and team collaboration happen in a structured, predictable way. Our first Fall semester demonstrated the power of this rhythm: children made measurable progress, clinicians felt more supported and organized, and families had clearer insight into their child’s growth.

This new model has already created the momentum and clarity we hoped for—and this is only the beginning.

Looking Ahead: Spring 2026

The new semester begins January 5, 2026, starting again with Spirit Week to ease transitions and build early momentum.

We’re thrilled to continue refining this model and are grateful to our families for trusting us during this exciting shift. The consistency and rhythm of the semester-based schedule are already making a noticeable impact—and we can’t wait to see what the next semester brings.
